About Me

Betsy Barry: Kingwood, Texas, United States; I am an artist wishing for extra daylight hours! I love to create with pencils, pens and paints, fabrics and fibers, rocks and sticks and anything organic. The natural world fascinates me - all things growing and flowering and moving- including the seashore and all things relating to the ocean. I have recently graduated with Distinction from the Society of Botanical Artists Distance Learning Diploma Course. Botanical art has taught me to observe the world more closely and carefully and see the beauty in the smallest of things!
